How to customize and use Control Center  your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

With Control Center, you can quickly take a picture, then turn on lights and  control your Apple TV or more. You can even customize Control Center after that you have instant access to the things you do most.

Open Control Center

Swipe (Push) up from the bottom edge of any screen. On iPhone X or later similar ios device or iPad with iOS 12 or later, swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen.

Close Control Center

Tap the top of the screen or press ( Prest ) the Home button. On iPhone X or later, swipe ( Swing ) up from the bottom of the screen or tap the screen.

Customize Control Center

You can customize Control Center so you can quickly change  settings for the things you do most. Want to be ready when inspiration hits? Add a Voice Memos control. Want to dim a lights in the dining room with a tap? Add Home controls. Here’s how:
  1. Go to Settings > Control Center.
  2. Tap Customize Controls.
  3. To add controls, tap . To remove controls, tap , then tap Remove.
How to rearrange controls in Control Center, go to Settings > Control Center, tap Customize Controls, then press and hold  next to the controls and drag them in the order that you want them.

Quickly control settings and use apps

Here are apps and settings you can quickly access in Control Center.

Turn on network settings

Open Control Center and push and hold the network settings card in the upper-left corner to turn on the following:
  • Airplane Mode: Immediately turn off cellular connections on your iOS device.
  • Cellular Data:  Allow or limit apps and services from using the cellular network to connect to the Internet.
  • Wi-Fi: The web browse, stream music, download movies, or more. If you press (Tap) and hold the Wi-Fi icon, you'll be able to switch Wi-Fi networks.
  • Bluetooth: Connect to the headphones, car kits, wireless keyboards and mouse , and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. If you press (TAP) and hold the Bluetooth icon, you'll be able to switch Bluetooth devices.
  • Air Drop:* Instantly share your photos, videos, locations, and more with other near Apple devices.
  • Personal Hotpots:* Share Internet connection with your computer or other iOS devices.

Control audio

tap ( press) and hold the audio card in the upper-right corner of Control Center to quickly play, pause, and control the volume of your favorite song, podcast, and more.
Tap or  press  to switch the audio output to speakers, headphones, Apple TV, or another audio device. You can  choose to play the same music across multiple speakers you have set up in your home.
You also see cards for nearby devices that you can control audio playback for. Just tap ( HOLD ) a card to control audio for that device. You can also use a cards to create a shared music queue with friends.
